Pella’s girls wrestlers placed 3rd at the Colfax-Mingo tournament to end the regular season on Saturday.
Head Coach Adam Hale:
“Top to bottom I think this was the best we’ve wrestled all season and I’d say it’s got to be the best team performance we’ve ever had as a program. There were 21 teams in the field, we had 10 girls in our lineup today and brought home 7 place-winners (top 6) and a third place team finish. I was pleased to see our girls competing and grinding throughout the entire match all day long. I can’t tell you how proud I am of how the girls competed today, and it’s always cool when we’re getting some nice compliments from opposing coaches, which is what we had today with how hard our girls were wrestling and how they were representing Pella.”
Team finish:
3rd of 21
