The Indianola Chamber of Commerce held their annual celebration Thursday night, welcoming local businesses, employees, and community members to Simpson College to celebrate the best in our community.
Chamber President and CEO Amanda Zwanziger tells KNIA News it was amazing to see the community come and support the chamber for one of their biggest events in recent memory, and she challenges the community in 2025 to lift one another up. Zwanziger said the negativity and comments towards businesses, individuals, or the city not only hurts those involved, but it hurts Indianola’s image to those who don’t live here.
“We are 345 member businesses and organizations, and there are employees working for them, we are literally thousands of people. I challenged our chamber members to make 2025 the year that positivity reigns. And that we become the louder voice in celebrating the best that Indianola has to offer.”
