A normal week of games await the Knoxville basketball Squad this week as the Panthers will continue South Central Conference play hosting Chariton tonight. The girls are coming off a frustrating loss to Davis County on Friday and hope to get things squared away against a Chariton squad that has lost its last five games and eight of its last nine. The class 3A #4 boys will see a team that came the closest to beating Knoxville in the conference the first time around as the Panthers defeated the Chargers by 16 points in Chariton back in December. Coach Joel Keady knows that Chariton is a dangerous team and hopes his scouting and knowing his team is aware of how good Chariton can be can add up to a win.
Keady: “Chariton is a great basketball team and well coached, they have players who can score and play well. We’ll have to watch the video and come up with a game plan to get a win.”
Live coverage of tonight’s double header can be heard on your radio home for Knoxville Sports 95-point-three KNIA beginning with the pregame at six.
