The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday night.

The meeting started with the board discussing their invitation to join the Little Hawkeye Conference and hearing from 8th grade students about their Washington D.C. field trip in October along with their trip leader Sara Finnegan. Superintendent Cassi Pearson stated that they are going to wait to see what other schools do before making any decisions regarding joining the conference. 

Also at the meeting in new business the board reviewed the emergency operations plan and a recommendation of a safety task force, then approved a security camera and security camera server upgrade for the district. The meeting concluded with the board moving the next regular meeting to Wednesday, February 12th.
