The rich tradition of speech excellence continued for the Tulip City high school programs this past Saturday at the 2025 Large Group District Meet.

From Pella High School, 16 of 22 entries advanced to State on February 8th. All eight from Pella Christian High School did the same.

Both schools come together for the annual All-City Speech Night this Thursday at Pella Christian High School, with performances from those state-bound groups starting at 7 p.m.

The public is invited to attend the fine arts evening which will include performing events from both schools in areas such as Readers Theatre, One-Act, Ensemble Acting, Musical Theatre, Short Film, Mime, and Improv. Events will follow one after the other in multiple centers during the evening.

A free-will donation will be taken to be divided between the Speech Teams of both schools.
