The PCM girls basketball team routed Grand View Christian Tuesday night as the boys team came up short in a Heart of Iowa Conference varsity doubleheader.
The #10 Mustang girls picked up the 72-35 win over the Thunder to improve to 15-2 on the season. PCM led 43-20 at half and did not let up in the second half as they closed out the win. The Mustangs were led in scoring by Libby Winters who had 20 points and Tori Lindsay who had 17 after hitting five three pointers.
The Mustang boys were leading the #6 ranked Thunder 35-33 at the end of the first half but were only able to score eight points in the second half as they dropped the contest after Grand View Christian put up 40. PCM was led in scoring by Gavin Van Gorp who had 15 points. The Mustang boys fall to 8-8 on the season. The PCM girls and boys basketball teams will be back in action on Friday at Nevada.
