The City of Newton’s Annual Newton Fest will be held Friday and Saturday, June 14-15 this year. The two day event features free entertainment for all ages. A popular activity for kids is set to return. Newton City Administrator Matt Muckler says Driving Cap Entertainment plans to create a UV glow foam party that is better than last year. It’s scheduled for 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Maytag Park on Friday, June 13th. The company in Milo will use two foam cannons to stack piles of UV glow foam that’s biodegradable, hypoallergenic, non-staining, and scent free. They will also be playing live music. The city’s cost for the UV glow foam party is $1,600.
