Dozens of retirees and their current staff of nearly 3,000 locally celebrated a milestone for a longstanding Pella company with a global impact. Pella Corporation celebrated Founder’s Day on Tuesday with a day filled with festivities recognizing 100 years in the Tulip City and the life and legacy of Pete Kuyper.

Pella Corporation’s executive leadership team and shareholder’s groups were among those in attendance, along with current staff and former employees. Several plant tours were given of the facilities on site that include recent technological innovations in local construction of windows and doors.
