The Knoxville Public Library is holding a mending workshop on Saturday.

This is an opportunity to bring in clothing items in need of repair including missing buttons, holes, and seams falling apart. The event is at 12:30 at the library and is a way to learn how to give clothes a second chance. Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson encourages the community to come out to this event.

“We are starting to do programming on Saturdays so people can come. The mending workshop on the 8th you can bring jeans that need mending, a zipper, some of those things that people don’t learn how to do anymore. Just bring anything that you think may need mending. It’s a group activity. Cari will be there to guide you through it. It’s just a fun social activity.

All Knoxville Public Library programming is free and open to the public.
