The Indianola girls and boys basketball teams have a chance to play spoiler tonight in the Little Hawkeye Conference as they host Dallas Center-Grimes. The Indians girls are in fourth place in the conference standings and face the Mustangs who are in a tie for first, and a win would likely give an outright conference title to Norwalk.
Indianola hasn’t beaten the Mustangs since 2020, and have lost eight in a row. The Indians boys will try to give the Mustangs their first conference loss of the season, and will try to up their offensive output against a DCG team that gives up less than 53 points per game. Head coach Jeff Ebling says the season has shown a lot of growth, and Friday night at home in Little Hawkeye Conference is a good time to showcase their skills.
The games will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Rick Wilson on the call. Pregame coverage begins at 5:45pm, with tipoff at 6pm.
