The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad has won just about every way possible this season and the class 3A #3 ranked Panthers stayed perfect on the season Thursday night with a 47-46 win over Bondurant-Farrar. The Bluejays started the game on an 11-0 run, but the Panthers only allowed 35 points over the final 24 minutes of the game. Knoxville preserved the win with a defensive gem in the waning seconds not allowing Bondurant-Farrar to get up a shot as time expired. Landen Norris led the Panthers with 23 points while Lincoln was the other one in double figures with 13. Knoxville is now 20-0 and equals the best ever start for a boys basketball squad which was set by the 1973/74 team. The Panthers have a chance to set the mark to 21 games with their final regular season game on Monday against Grinnell, a game you can hear live on 95.3 KNIA.
