The Indianola City Council meets in regular session tomorrow, which includes appointing an applicant to the position of Indianola Mayor. The council will review four applications, including Todd Keilkopf, Eric Martens, Chad Matchie, and current city councilman Steve Richardson, and select an application to be appointed as Indianola Mayor until the term ends on December 31st.

The council will also hold a public hearings regarding a rezoning application for Indianola
Veterinary Clinic and for rezoning application for Summercrest Hills North. The council will also hold a hearing concerning the seizure, impoundment, and disposition of a vicious animal.

After the regular session, the council will discuss the FY26 budget. The meeting begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
