The Indianola boys basketball team took down Des Moines East on the road Tuesday evening 75-49 in a non-conference matchup. The Indians led 19-10 after the first and continued to pour it on in the second that ended with a 15-4 run to end the half as the Indians led 43-20 at the break. The Scarlets fought back in the third to cut the deficit to 15 at 55-40, but Indianola put on a clinic in the fourth and was able to empty the bench for the win. George Blake continued his scoring barrage, leading the team with 24 points, one of four Indians in double figures.

Indianola is now 6-14 on the season, and will wrap up the regular season tomorrow hosting Bondurant-Farrar.
