
The Indianola City Council met in regular session Monday. The council approved a rezoning request for the Indianola Vet Clinic from agricultural to highway commercial, and a rezoning request for the Summercrest Hills Planned Unit Development.
The council also held a hearing regarding the disposition of a vicious dog, ultimately affirming the Indianola Police Departments recommendation to determine the dog vicious after it bit a child. The council also discussed Vision 2030, the future facilities plan for the city.
After the council meeting, the council held a work session regarding the FY26 budget.
