The Knoxville RAGBRAI Executive Committee has announced the winners of five $1,000 grants.

Over 1,200 votes were cast for the 13 non-profit organizations to receive funding from revenue earned at RABRAI’s overnight stop in Knoxville last July. The grant recipient winners include Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, Freedom for Youth Knoxville, Helping Hands Food Pantry, Knoxville Alumni Association, and Heart of Transit. The committee is also going to use the revenue for a “Welcome to Knoxville” sign for people to see as they come into town.
