It’s now officially tournament time for the No. 9 in Class 3A Pella boys basketball team after a 76-33 rout of Mount Pleasant on Tuesday. The Dutch never trailed in the final regular season game of 2025 and shot 60.4% from the field on the long road trip east. Jack McGuire scored 14 points and Colin Kerndt and Michael Manning each added 10. Pella finishes the regular season at 16-6 and opens the substate playoffs next Monday night at home against Des Moines Hoover. The Dutch are the No. 2 seed in the eight-team bracket.
