The Pleasantville boys basketball team fell to West Marshall in the Class 2A Substate 6 second round on Thursday night.

Pleasantville led 23-19 at halftime, but West Marshall was able to narrowly outscore Pleasantville in the third and fourth quarters to secure the 48-43 win. Pleasantville was led in scoring by sophomore Braylon Bingham who had 31 points. Pleasantville ends their season with an 11-11 overall record. The Pleasantville girls will take on top ranked Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in a Class 2A Regional semifinals matchup tonight.
