Senior Molly Lutmer became the 21st member of the 1,000-point club and the Simpson College women’s basketball team captured an 80-55 win over Buena Vista to close the regular season.
With the win, the Storm (15-10, 11-5 A-R-C) clinched the No. 3 seed in the American Rivers Conference Tournament beginning next Tuesday. Simpson will host a first round game, carrying a four-game win streak into the matchup.
