While the recent weather has not been conducive for any racing, KNIA will once again give you a little tease of what to expect during the 2025 sprint car season from Knoxville and beyond. Today and next Saturday will be the Matt Moro and Karl Chevrolet Sprint Car Racing Radio Preview Shows. Mike Roberts and I will talk to various local, regional, and national drivers and preview the local, regional and national racing scene. On this week’s show we will have as guests Knoxville Raceway General Manager Jason Reed, former driver and now driver coach and car owner Jason Meyers, National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum Executive Director Bob Baker, and 2024 Knoxville 360 Track Champion Jamie Ball. Ball tells KNIA/KRLS Sports running a 410 along with his 360 last season made him a better driver.

Ball: “The other biggest thing is running the 410 made running the 360 easier. I wasn’t out of the car for more than 30 minutes each night, and I always joke that if I can hit the bottom in a 410 I can definitely hit the bottom in a 360, so that just changed my mindset.”
