The Pleasantville girls basketball team fell to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Friday night in the Class 2A Region 1 semifinals.

The Trojans fell to the top ranked 22-0 Rockets 74-37. Pleasantville was led in scoring by senior Joelle Johnson who had 20 points. Pleasantville’s season comes to an end as they finish with a 14-10 overall record. The Pleasantville girls took major strides from last season winning eight more games in their 2024-2025 campaign. Pleasantville will graduate five seniors.
