The Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance recognized their IMPACT award winners at their Annual Membership Breakfast on Friday. 

150 people attended the breakfast ceremony on Friday morning and Executive Director Karen Eischen said that she appreciates the participation of their members.

“We have a membership that is so involved and shows up and participates, all in an effort to really raise the tide for all businesses. This morning, we had 150 people there, which is a lot for this breakfast, and we appreciate everybody for coming. But just another example, 66% of our membership is actively involved, giving over 3,100 hours of volunteer time to our organization and they help us put on 77 different events throughout the year. It is just awesome to have such an active community that wants to give back and help support each other.”
