The PCM wrestling team made school history Saturday night with two wrestlers competing in the finals in the same season.
Tucker Wheeler at 157 pounds and Kaden Clark at 285 pounds both made it to their respective championship matches at the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament held in Des Moines last week. Wheeler and Clark became the first duo to make it to Saturday night’s championship match in the same season for the Mustangs. Both wrestlers fell in their title matches falling just short of a state title. Clark is a senior and will graduate, but Wheeler being a junior has a chance next season to make it back to the championship match. In total the Mustangs sent five wrestlers to the state tournament in Wheeler, Clark, Kaliber Fry, Zach Richards, and Bentlee Sloan.
