It was a strong debut at the state bowling meet Tuesday for Pella’s lone qualifier. Alex Bishara placed 13th in the Class 2A individual tournament in Waterloo with a score of 687. His first game score of 267 was the fourth highest in the field. The top eight bowlers move on to a championship dual. Bishara is a sophomore and was a key athlete in several program bests for the Dutch in 2024-25.
