Zane Mullenix has concluded a memorable 2024-2025 wrestling season for Pleasantville.

Mullenix competed last week at the Iowa High School Boys State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines where he punched his ticket for the second straight year. The sophomore finished fourth at 157 pounds in Class 1A. Despite falling just short of a state title this season for Mullenix, it was a season loaded with wins. Mullenix finished the regular season with a 48-2 record with his only losses coming against Brent Dennhardt of Greene County and Tucker Wheeler of PCM who placed first and second at the state tournament this year. Mullenix also broke the school record for wins in a season for the Trojans.
