Students at Jefferson Intermediate School and Pella Middle School are set to move into the new connector project between the two buildings. Superintendent Greg Ebeling says the new space will be available by spring break. It was initially supposed to be done by winter break, but an error by one of the subcontractors on the project caused a delay, according to Ebeling. The building completion marks the final major initiative voted on in the November 2021 bond issue, after recent substantial completion of the football stadium upgrades. At this week’s Pella School Board meeting, improvements to the Pella Middle School parking lot were approved, and will begin sometime this spring for late summer completion.
