The Indianola Fire Department is hosting a controlled burn training opportunity this weekend, burning a donated structure located at 2103 E 2nd Avenue in Indianola.The Indianola Fire Department asks residents to avoid the training area and portions of the McVay Trail near the training area will be closed.
The burn will take place on Sunday at noon and is expected to last approximately six hours. In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, the burn will be rescheduled to March 8th.
