The Marion County Board of Supervisors heard an update on a county workspace study at their meeting Tuesday.

County Facilities Director Chris Nesteby talked to the board about re-arranging county office spaces throughout the public health building, county office building and the courthouse. Two supervisors would have their offices moved to the current public health building, along with the economic development department. The current public health building will also likely become the new location of Board of Supervisors meetings. If this move happens, it will do so before the start of the new fiscal year on July 1st. The 3014 E Main St. location that is utilized now could eventually be used for rental government office space.
