A combined 10 girls basketball players from Norwalk and Indianola have been named to the Little Hawkeye All-Conference teams for the 2024-2025 season.

First-team selections from Norwalk include freshman Braylyn Birmingham and senior Bailey Birmingham. Braylyn Birmingham was the state’s top-scoring freshman with 20.5 points per game and also averaged 4.1 assists and 2.5 steals. Bailey Birmingham averaged 16.6 points and 2.6 steals per contest, finishing her prep career with 1,668 points. Also receiving first-team honors is Indianola sophomore Madison Grover, who led the Indians with 10.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

The second team All-Conference list includes Norwalk juniors Hannah Overholser and Pearl Brown as well as Indianola junior Lauren Olson. Receiving honorable mention plaudits are junior Ava Carlson and senior Grace Linder from Norwalk and seniors Zoey Belt and Dana Blake from Indianola.

The Norwalk girls basketball team finished 23-2 on the season, tying a school record for wins. The Warriors shared the LHC championship with Dallas Center-Grimes and advanced to the Class 4A state tournament semifinals. Indianola finished 7-15 overall and placed fourth in the Little Hawkeye standings at 6-6.
