While their season featured a variety of highs and lows, the Pella Christian boys basketball team saw improvement throughout the season. Eagles head coach Marv Van Wyk gave credit to his team’s work off the court in both preparation and practice in helping the team get better and finish the year strong.

“The preparation we do is the key, and these guys took that to heart when we put a game plan out there for any of the games we played. They did a great job of executing that game plan and almost every game, we competed hard even though we weren’t able to come out on top. And that’s just a testament to how our kid prepared, and how they listened in practice, and took to heart what we were trying to work on.”

Pella Christian ended the season with a 10-14 overall record.
