The Warren County Supervisors continue to work on the FY26 budget for next year, hosting multiple work sessions with county departments over the last several months. Board Chair Aaron DeKock tells KNIA News the last several years the budget has been met while decreasing the fund balance, and the current board is focused on trimming spending to not further decrease reserves.

DeKock said the full budget has yet to be proposed, however the board is leaning towards lowering levy rates for the general basic and rural basic. Hear more on an upcoming program of Let’s Talk Indianola.
