The Indianola City Council will meet in a special session tonight, considering appointing an Interim City Manager after the resignation of former Interim City Manager Wade Wagoner last week. The council will consider the appointment of Doug Bylund to the post, who currently serves as the Chief of Culture and Recreation for the city. The council will also go into closed session to discuss employee reviews, take possible action from the closed session, and continue a budget discussion.

Before the special session, the board will meet in a joint session with IMU to discuss insurance renewal. The joint session with IMU begins at 6:15pm, with the special session following in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
