Karma Dickenson, with Materials Management, was recently selected by her co-workers as the 2024 Shining Star of the Year at Pella Regional Health Center.

The Pella resident was the Shining Star of the Month in October 2024. Shining Star is a reward and recognition program at Pella Regional designed to acknowledge an employee each month that demonstrates outstanding standards of behavior and inspires others to do their best. At the end of the year, one of the Shining Star of the Month recipients is then chosen by Pella Regional employees as Shining Star of the Year. Dickenson receives an Employee of the Year plaque and a $250 gift.

“Over the past three months, Karma has gone above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly, despite staffing challenges. Karma stepped up to fill the roles of two full-time employees, managing inventories across multiple departments and fulfilling orders with remarkable efficiency.
