
The City of Indianola held their annual awards banquet last week, honoring employees for years of service, customer service recognition, and awarding Jacy West with the Indianola Public Library as Employee of the Year.
City Communications Director Aaron Young tells KNIA News Jacy was recognized for her outstanding efforts in fostering City partnerships with local organizations and businesses through impactful outreach library programs that she leads.
Other employees receiving longtime employee recognition included Indianola Police Department Chief Brian Sher for 30 years, IPD Captain Rob Hawkins, and Foreman Matt Anders.
