The Newton School Board has approved a sharing agreement for the District’s Transportation Supervisor. Starting April 1st, the PCM School District is going to pay the Newton School District $7,890.50 for shared use of Transportation Supervisor Monica Pritchard for the rest of the school year. Either school district can notify the other of an intent to continue the 28E agreement by June 30th. If not, that’s when the agreement automatically terminates.

Newton School Superintendent Tom Messenger says the agreement will lessen the workload on current PCM Transportation Director Tucker Gilbert, who also works on the district’s buses as a mechanic and drives a bus route.
