The Pella Wellness Consortium will continue their wellness series “Managing Stress – Living Your Best Life” with two events in March and April.
The first event, Connecting With Nature, will be held at 10 am on Saturday, March 22nd at Big Rock Park. During the free event, Central College Associate Professor of Biology Dr. Paul Weihe will lead those in attendance in identifying trees without their leaves and celebrating the arrival of spring.
The Wellness Consortium will then hold Bowls of Connection in collaboration with Main Street Markt at 5 pm on Thursday, April 3rd. Community members are invited to join the consortium for the soup cooking class, which will feature a demonstration to provide those in attendance with helpful skills to make them feel more confident in the kitchen. Bowls of Connection at Main Street Markt is free to the public but is limited to 30 participants. Those planning to attend the event are required to RSVP by March 26th, and can do so by using the link here.
