As the City of Indianola and Indianola City Council continue discussions about city services, which included the future of the City of Indianola Magazine. City of Indianola Communications Director Aaron Young tells KNIA News the format and the process overall will have to change.

“This will be the last issue. In terms of the budget cuts nad trying to allocate dollars and save money from this fiscal year and trying to be best stewards of taxpayer dollars, there likely will not be a printed spring issue. So the current issue that is out there, the winter 2025 issue, will be the last print issue. We will still have a digital version of the spring 2025 City of Indianola Magazine, that will likely be uploaded and disseminated at the end of March.

Young also said the same information from various city departments will still be available for city residents to receive, just perhaps in a different form in the future. Hear more on an upcoming program of Let’s Talk Indianola.
