Only ten boys are out for Twin Cedars Track and Field as new coach Max Diaz takes over the reigns. While ten is not a great number Diaz tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the reality is they likely are not competing for a conference or team title this season. But Diaz says that will not stop his team from competing in their individual events, and striving for personal bests this season.
Diaz: “I told them all at the beginning of the year, let’s be honest, are we going to go out and punch teams in the mouth and win meets, no. But I do want them to fall in love with breaking personal records and competing no matter who is on the track with them.”
The next meet on the schedule for Twin Cedars will be Belle Plaine Invitational on April 3rd.
