The Indianola girls track and field team had a strong start to 2025, getting good finishes at the Dickinson Relays at the University of Northern Iowa and the IATC Indoor Championships at Iowa State last week, but one of the ways they will see success this season is a positive atmosphere. Senior Kiley Kindelspire tells KNIA News while track and field is sometimes an individual sport, this team is very supportive of each other.

“We have a bigger group this year, a lot of new girls to the sport. They are still learning, but I honestly think we all support each other. The different event groups are always cheering on everyone else, and I think that is something that sets us apart from other teams.”
