Five individuals from Norwalk Community High School have been recognized with postseason honors from the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association.

In boys basketball, Warrior senior Grady Sigrist was one of six players named to the Class 4A, All-Substate 1 team. Sigrist led Norwalk with 14.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game and also led the team in assists, steals, blocks, made field goals and free throws. The Warriors finished the season with an 11-12 overall record.

The IBCA named three Norwalk girls basketball players to the Class 4A, All-Region 5 team and also selected head coach Joe Sigrist as the Region 5 Coach of the Year. Braylyn Birmingham, a freshman, led the team with 20.5 points and 4.1 assists per game. Senior Bailey Birmingham averaged 16.6 points per game and finished her career with 1,668 total points. Junior Hannah Overholser averaged 7.8 points per contest.

The Warrior girls won a share of the Little Hawkeye Conference title, advanced to the 4A state semifinals and finished 23-2.
