Pleasantville sophomore Braylon Bingham has been selected to the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association All-State Basketball Team.
Bingham was a second team selection for Class 2A and is the first Pleasantville boys basketball player to receive all-state honors since Scott Korselman in 1996. In his 2024-2025 season Bingham averaged 28.1 points per game, 8.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and carried a 49.3% field goal percentage. Bingham also surpassed 1,000 career points during his sophomore season and scored 618 points in total this past season.
All-state honors are getting familiar for Bingham as he was a first team all-state football selection in the fall and has been an all-state baseball selection twice. Bingham also qualified for state track and field last year in the high jump. Complete all-state basketball list can be found here.
