
The Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad will have a few throwers that are already showing signs of progress from one season to the next. Sophomore Tristan Stevenson returns as the lead shot putter for the Panthers. His best toss last season was 42 feet 4.25 inches. In the discus, senior Rugar Kendall returns from his best throw of 125 feet six inches. Along with Kendall, Andrew Malyuga ,Casey Kendall, and Xander Smith are also in the mix for varsity time. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports all of his throwers under the watchful eye of Assistant Coach Doug Bacon.
Kellar: “Trisatan Stevenson already back in the shot and already is right at last year’s best, Andrew had worked a lot and he could win the conference in his event.”
Knoxville will get the season opened up on April 1st at the Pella Christian Invitational.
