A funeral service for Gelene Kay Sibert, 81, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd and the family will greet guests from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Chariton. Gelene will be interred in Russell Cemetery following services. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital-Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Gelenes name.
