Indianola High School music students Simon Gilfanov and Calvin Schettler have been accepted into the Iowa String Teachers Association Invitational Orchestra. The pair earned the top two chairs for bass at the Drake University Honors Orchestra Festival, and will perform a concert in May. The Iowa String Teachers Association provides professional development, career building and support, and a community of peers for all teachers of stringed instruments.
