Upon the return from spring break, competition ramps up for the Pella Dutch this week into next.

Pella’s first varsity outdoor competition is on Thursday as the Dutch boys track and field team travels to Waukee. That same night, Pella’s girls soccer team, fresh off of another state semifinals appearance, will host Knoxville for a scrimmage.

Varsity action begins next Monday the 31st for the Pella boys soccer team as they host Centerville. The Dutch tennis boys, coming off of a 3rd place finish, open at North Polk on April Fool’s Day, and the girls track and field team heads to Waukee Northwest for the opening outdoor meet of the new spring season that same night. Pella’s girls soccer team will also open on April 1st at Winterset.

The Dutch golf teams are on the road on April 3rd and April 4th to begin the new spring calendar. The defending Class 1A state championship Pella Girls Tennis team is off from action until April 7th.
