The City of Knoxville will hold a free leaf and yard waste collection day on April 26th and 27th.

The collection will take place at the Knoxville Street Shop located at 309 W Reno St. from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday the 26th and from Noon – 4:00 pm on Sunday the 27th  Only regular residential yard waste will be accepted including twigs, shrubbery, branches, leaves, and tree trimmings; and limbs must be three feet or less and be easily able to be carried by one person. Materials not accepted include dirt, rock, gravel, litter, and tree stumps. Plastic bags will not be accepted and leaves must be placed in paper lawn bags. 

If there is inclement weather, the collection will be rescheduled.
