Five members of the community have applied for the vacant Indianola City Council position, opened when Indianola Mayor Steve Richardson was appointed to the position from the at-large council spot.

The five applicants, including Eric Martens, Todd Kielkopf, Brad Ross, Bob Lane, and Jason Etnyre, filled out an application that included a brief essay and work/civic involvement history.

Applicants will be interviewed by the City Council at its regular meeting scheduled for April 7th, with an appointment by council up for consideration at that time.
