The Tulip Time Festival is getting a cinematic spotlight in a new documentary titled Tulip Time 25, currently in production by local filmmakers Monte Goodyk and Axel Vazquez.

Set against the backdrop of Pella’s celebration of Dutch heritage, Tulip Time 25 captures the spirit of the modern-day festival through visuals, interviews, and behind-the-scenes storytelling.

“Our goal is to inform the world about what makes Pella’s Tulip Time so special,” says co-director Monte Goodyk. “This festival is more than just tulips and parades — it’s about community, culture, and the pride that ties us all together.”

Filming is currently underway, with interviews being conducted with residents, volunteers, and longtime participants. Tulip Time 25 is expected to premiere later in 2025, with plans for local screenings and wider distribution to follow.
