Several area communities received at least small hail for multiple severe thunderstorm warnings that were issued late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

The KNIA/KRLS Severe Weather Action Team was on the air for just over an hour for warnings impacting Warren and Jasper counties.

According to the National Weather Service, hail close to an inch in diameter was reported in Prairie City.
