The Simpson College baseball team erupted for a season-high 17 hits in a dominating 15-3 win over Luther on Saturday morning, securing its first American Rivers Conference series victory of the season.
Bryson Gibson and Kasey Carter powered the offense, each driving in four runs on three hits. Jacob Roberts and Will Carlock added solo home runs, while the Storm racked up five extra-base hits in the dominant performance.
Easton Dunwoody picked up the win on the mound as the Storm pitching staff combined for 12 strikeouts.
