The Norwalk track and field teams will take part in the inaugural Warren County Relays today at Simpson College. The Warrior girls soccer team, meanwhile, opens their season tonight with a home game against ADM.

Track and Field

A new tradition begins at 4:00 p.m. when Norwalk, Indianola, Carlisle, Martensdale-St. Marys and Southeast Warren compete in the Warren County Relays at Simpson’s Bill Buxton Stadium. Norwalk, Indianola and Carlisle are expected to field two team entries for each event while Martensdale-St. Marys and Southeast Warren will have one team entry per event.

Soccer

The Norwalk girls soccer team opens their season at home with a 7:00 p.m. non-conference game vs. the ADM Tigers. The Warriors return several key players from a team that finished 14-5 last season. ADM finished 9-8. Norwalk won last year’s meeting 4-0.
